MCA Shield · Privacy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 13, 2026

This policy explains how MCA Shield collects, uses and discloses information through mcashield.com, consultations, compensated referrals and lead purchases, company directories, Platinum membership inquiries and reservations, membership administration and email communications. It also explains how to contact us about your information.

Responsible business: MCA Shield LLC, doing business as MCA Shield. Business mailing address: 7880 S 70th E Ave, Tulsa, OK 74133.

Contact: contact@mcashield.com · (918) 948-7186.

1. Scope and services

MCA Shield provides education, financial consulting and referrals. Independent companies provide the debt relief, financing, tax or other services described on their own terms. We also publish company profiles, offer paid Platinum directory placements and arrange permitted referrals to qualified independent providers. We receive compensation for referrals made through our lead-purchase process.

Platinum membership concerns directory visibility, profile presentation, designated website links and priority opportunities for approved eligible members to purchase relevant leads. Lead purchases are separate from membership. Membership does not give a company access to all inquiries or the full prospect database. Current membership benefits, billing and reservation terms are described on our Platinum Membership page, in our Terms of Service and in the applicable enrollment agreement. Lead-purchase eligibility and procedures are described in the lead-purchase rules and applicable offer terms. This policy explains the information handling involved.

This policy applies to MCA Shield-operated services that link to it. Independent providers and payment services have their own privacy notices. Reading this policy or browsing the site does not, by itself, authorize a referral, marketing contact or sale of your information.

2. Information we collect and its sources

The information involved depends on whether you are a visitor, business owner seeking help, authorized referring company, prospective or active Platinum member, approved lead buyer or profile representative.

Some business information can identify an individual, particularly a sole proprietor. We do not assume information loses privacy protection because it relates to a business. Do not submit banking passwords, payment-card security codes, employee records or unrelated personal information.

3. How we use information

We use information to respond to requests, assess service fit, arrange authorized referrals, maintain company profiles and designated website links, review company and buyer qualifications, manage placement inquiries and reservations, prepare agreements, administer memberships and payments, communicate about renewal or cancellation, and support customers.

For lead-purchase opportunities, we use relevant information to check the inquiry and its permissions, prepare a non-identifying preview, identify eligible buyers, communicate offers and deadlines, verify payment and buyer eligibility, prevent duplicate sales, deliver authorized details to the successful buyer and resolve delivery or quality questions. We retain offer, purchase and delivery records as needed to document these activities.

Other purposes include protecting the service from misuse, maintaining business records, honoring privacy choices and meeting applicable obligations. We may send service communications and, where permitted, marketing or member updates subject to your choices. We will provide additional notice and obtain permission where required before a materially different use.

4. Referrals, buyer previews and one-company distribution

Requested referrals and compensation: With your permission, MCA Shield may share your inquiry and authorized contact details with one qualified referral partner offering the service you requested. We receive compensation for the referral. MCA Shield distributes each referred inquiry to one company; you may contact other providers independently. The relevant form disclosures and your permission govern sharing.

Membership and buyer access: Paid Platinum placement provides directory visibility and related membership benefits. Approved eligible members in the relevant category receive equal priority access to purchase matching leads separately from membership. Directory position does not determine who receives the first purchase opportunity. The first eligible buyer to complete a valid purchase receives the authorized identifiable details after payment and eligibility verification. If no eligible member purchases within the stated priority window, MCA Shield may offer the unsold lead to another vetted, qualified company. The recipient is therefore selected from eligible buyers through this purchase process; receipt of a lead is not an endorsement or a claim that the buyer is the best provider for you. Membership alone does not authorize access to your information.

Before purchase: Multiple eligible buyers may receive a non-identifying preview of the same opportunity. A preview may include the requested service, general industry, state or service region, debt or funding range, inquiry age and relevant qualifications. Names, business names, telephone numbers, email addresses, websites, identifying documents and details that would reasonably reveal identity or enable contact lookup are withheld. We limit or generalize preview details where necessary to avoid identifying the prospect, including through combinations of information. Reported information is distinguished from information we have verified.

After purchase: Only the successful approved buyer receives the authorized contact information and relevant inquiry details through the agreed secure delivery method, after payment and eligibility are verified. MCA Shield sells each lead to one company. Unsold offers may be made available to additional qualified buyers, but that does not authorize distribution of the identifiable inquiry to multiple companies. This commitment concerns MCA Shield’s distribution: it does not mean the prospect has never contacted another provider, will stop comparing services or has no existing provider relationships.

General forms reached from company profiles: A button leading to MCA Shield’s general quote or matching form requests help through MCA Shield, not necessarily through the company profiled on the preceding page. This can apply to unpaid company profiles. The button and form must identify the MCA Shield route before submission. The approved recipient may be another company offering the requested service, where the visitor’s request and permission allow it. A page visit alone is not permission to disclose contact details, and a profile’s payment status does not expand the visitor’s permission.

Requests directed to a named company: An inquiry submitted through a form identified exclusively for a specific company is intended for that company. MCA Shield and its service providers may process it to deliver and support the request. It is not automatically offered to another buyer; any different referral requires an appropriate request, notice and permission. Links that take you directly to a company’s own website lead to that company’s forms and privacy practices. MCA Shield may measure the outbound click where enabled but does not automatically receive information submitted on that external site.

Permitted use and category fit: A request for one service does not automatically authorize sharing across every category. The proposed introduction must fit the documented permission, service need, geography and recipient’s qualifications. A company submitting an inquiry on someone else’s behalf must have appropriate authority and documented permission for the proposed disclosure. Buyers must follow the prospect’s contact restrictions and use information only for the authorized purpose. Purchasing a lead does not authorize unrestricted sharing or onward resale. Buyers may not attempt to identify or contact prospects from previews.

Compensation and privacy-law sale definitions: MCA Shield receives payment for purchased referrals. Disclosure of personal information for money or other valuable consideration may constitute a sale under applicable privacy laws. One-company distribution and use of the word “referral” do not remove applicable notice, consent or opt-out obligations. See Your Privacy Choices for requests concerning sale, sharing and use of your information.

Publishing this policy does not authorize sharing older inquiries collected under incompatible notices or permissions. Required notices, choices and permissions must be addressed before disclosure. Retaining a record or receiving payment does not expand the permission for its use.

5. Other recipients and payments

Current inquiry forms deliver submissions to contact@mcashield.com through Google Workspace. Internal access to these inquiries is limited to MCA Shield employees. Google Workspace processes and stores email as our email service provider. This internal access restriction does not prevent an authorized referral to an independent provider as described in Section 4.

Our website uses WordPress and Divi on Bluehost hosting. Hosting and email providers process information to operate those services. The website also uses form and email-delivery software to handle submissions. Information may be disclosed to service providers where needed to deliver these functions, subject to the relevant service arrangements. Tracking and consent providers are described below.

Submitting a membership inquiry does not itself authorize payment. Payments for memberships, agreed reservations and lead purchases are handled through the payment service identified before payment, including PayPal where used. We may receive payer contact details, transaction or subscription identifiers, amounts, billing status and payment, refund or cancellation confirmations. Payment services may receive order details needed to process the transaction, such as a membership description or lead-offer identifier; a payment button is not a public listing of the prospect’s contact details or financial documents. Payment credentials entered with a payment service are handled under its own terms and privacy notice. Do not send full payment credentials to MCA Shield by email.

Email communications: We use Mailchimp to send campaigns and membership updates. Mailchimp may process recipient names, business email addresses, supplied company details, list membership, subscription preferences, delivery status and unsubscribe records. Where campaign tracking is enabled, it may record email opens and link clicks, along with related technical information. Open data can be affected by email-provider privacy tools and is not proof that a person read a message. Marketing opt-out options appear in Section 7. Website cookie settings do not necessarily disable tracking in an email already sent. See the Intuit Global Privacy Statement for Mailchimp-related processing.

Memberships, reservations and public listings: We use company and reservation details to manage category availability, enrollment, launch timing and communication with the authorized representative. Existing reservation and private management-link records may be retained for administration, permission evidence or dispute handling, subject to Section 8. Published directories and profiles contain the business information described in Section 2 and designated website links. The enrollment process identifies company information intended for publication. Private contact details, management links, agreements, payment records and identifiable prospect inquiries are not public placement information.

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, investigate misuse or protect rights and safety. Information may also be transferred in a merger, sale or reorganization, subject to applicable privacy obligations. Independent referral recipients are responsible for their own subsequent processing; our member rules do not replace their legal duties.

6. Cookies, analytics and tracking choices

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for site operation, consent preferences, audience measurement and advertising fraud monitoring. The tools identified in our current setup are listed below. A cookie’s expiration is separate from the period a provider retains information in its systems.

Website tools and their purposes
Provider or toolPurpose and information involvedChoices
Google AnalyticsMeasures website visits and interactions. It can process browser and device information, page activity and cookie identifiers such as _ga and _ga_*.Our site code is configured to associate Google Analytics with the Analytics consent category.
ClickCease / CHEQMonitors traffic for suspected advertising click fraud. Its tracking can involve IP addresses, device/browser information, visit activity and identifiers. Our site code is configured to associate ClickCease with the Advertisement consent category.
CookieYesDisplays the consent banner and stores cookie preference choices. The current consent-choice expiration setting is 365 days. The banner offers Accept All, Reject All and customization. The consent-preferences control allows you to reopen your choices.
WordPress and website infrastructureSupport site operation, login where available, language preferences and security. Administration or editor cookies may appear when staff use the website and may differ from visitor cookies.Browser controls can remove or restrict cookies, but blocking necessary cookies may affect website functions.

Manage cookie choices: Use the consent-preferences button on the website or the button below to reopen CookieYes. Rejecting optional cookies does not cancel a form submission or withdraw permission for a referral already requested; contact us separately about those activities.

We are testing the implementation of these controls. Their presence alone is not a guarantee that every third-party request or previously stored cookie is blocked or removed. Contact us if a preference control does not work as expected. Browser cookie settings provide additional controls but do not necessarily stop server-side processing or referral disclosures.

Browser privacy signals: Automatic handling of Global Privacy Control and legacy Do Not Track signals has not yet been verified across our setup. You can submit sale, sharing and targeted-advertising opt-out requests using Section 7. This additional request method does not replace any obligation to honor a legally recognized opt-out signal.

Advertising disclosures: Our confirmed setup includes audience measurement and advertising fraud monitoring. We have not completed verification of whether connected advertising settings involve cross-context behavioral advertising. We therefore do not make a blanket claim that no advertising-related sale or sharing occurs. You may request an opt-out or further information using the contact methods below.

Recent tracking change: Our previous policy update recorded the removal of Retention.com visitor-identification scripts from the Divi integration code. Removing a script does not by itself delete information previously processed by a provider. Contact us about access or deletion of information from earlier activity.

More information is available in the Google Privacy Policy, ClickCease Privacy Policy and CookieYes Privacy Policy.

7. Your Privacy Choices — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

To request access, correction, deletion, an end to referral sharing, or an opt-out of sale, contact contact@mcashield.com or call (918) 948-7186. State the request and provide enough information to locate the relevant record. You do not need an account or membership to contact us about privacy.

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to a copy of your information, correction, deletion, portability, limits on certain sensitive-information uses, and opt-outs of sale, targeted advertising or specified profiling. Authorized agents may make requests where permitted. We may verify identity for access or deletion; sale opt-outs will not require identity verification beyond information needed to identify the affected record.

We will respond within applicable deadlines, explain permitted exceptions and provide appeal instructions where required. You may email with “Privacy appeal” if you believe a request was incorrectly denied. We will not unlawfully discriminate for exercising privacy rights. Some requested services cannot proceed without the necessary information or authorized disclosure.

California protections can apply to individuals acting in business roles when statutory coverage requirements are met. Other state laws have different coverage and exceptions. Sections 2, 4, 5 and 6 describe information categories, sources, purposes and recipients. Compensated referrals, lead purchases and certain tracking disclosures may qualify as a sale or sharing under applicable law. Our commitment to distribute each referred inquiry to one company does not remove any applicable privacy rights. Contact us for information about the disclosures associated with your record.

For email marketing, use the unsubscribe option in the message or contact us. A Platinum reservation, membership purchase or publicly available business email address does not by itself authorize every type of marketing contact. Providing a telephone number does not by itself enroll you in text alerts. For texts, follow the opt-out instructions in the message or contact us. A request to stop marketing does not necessarily stop essential transaction or account notices. We will address downstream notifications where required; deletion may be subject to lawful recordkeeping exceptions.

8. Retention and deletion

Our retention policy is to keep inquiries, supporting documents, member and reservation records, buyer approvals, offer and purchase records, delivery records, agreements and consent records for no more than five years. We may retain them for a shorter period depending on the purpose, the requested service and applicable deletion rights. These records support inquiries and referrals, membership administration, payment and delivery verification, permission evidence and dispute handling.

If a specific legal obligation or preservation requirement requires a record to be kept longer, that requirement may limit deletion. Records retained for that reason are not automatically available for unrelated marketing. An independent referral recipient may have its own retention obligations and policy.

A reservation expiring or a Platinum membership ending does not automatically delete the related record. Information remains subject to the purpose limits, retention periods and privacy rights described here; continuing to retain a record does not authorize new marketing or lead sharing.

Cookie expiration and vendor technical-log retention are separate from this business-record policy. A deletion request may require coordination with the relevant email, hosting or other service provider; deletion should not be assumed to remove every backup copy immediately.

A lead-purchase deadline or contractual dispute window does not replace applicable privacy-rights deadlines or authorize continued marketing. You can submit privacy requests regardless of lead age or purchase status. Retaining a consent record does not extend the scope or duration of the permission it documents.

9. Sensitive records and security

Where a private account, reservation-management or delivery link is provided, keep it and any associated credentials confidential. Anyone with access to a private link may be able to access or manage the related record, depending on the system. Do not post it publicly or forward it to unauthorized people. Contact us promptly if it is exposed. A private management link is not, by itself, an approved channel for submitting sensitive financial documents.

Full bank statements, tax returns, transcripts, personal credit reports, government identifiers and account credentials do not belong in public or shared lead previews. Any necessary document handoff must use an approved secure process with appropriate authority. General referral permission does not authorize every use of tax-return information or access to a consumer credit report.

Current inquiries are delivered through Google Workspace, and internal access is limited to MCA Shield employees. Before sending sensitive documents, contact us for the appropriate submission instructions. Do not assume ordinary email or a public lead form is an appropriate channel for every financial record.

Identifiable inquiry details are released only to the approved receiving company for the authorized referral, using the agreed secure delivery method. Buyers must restrict access to people who need the information to handle that request. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected unauthorized access to the contact below; avoid including exposed sensitive information in your initial message.

10. Children, location and external services

Our services are intended for adults acting for businesses, not children. Do not submit a minor’s information. Contact us if you believe such information was submitted so we can investigate and address it.

MCA Shield is based in Oklahoma, and its services are directed to United States businesses. We use third-party infrastructure and do not represent that all vendor processing is confined to Oklahoma or the United States. Contact us with questions about the processing locations relevant to your information. Links to company websites, review platforms, social media and external checkout pages lead to services with their own privacy practices.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as services and practices change. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice or obtain permission when required. A policy update alone does not authorize a new use of previously collected information that requires separate permission.
