Is FundThrough a potential fit?
Worth comparing: a business with substantial eligible invoices to established commercial or government customers that wants to choose which invoices to fund and use an online workflow.
Check first: initial-funding eligibility, customer approval, existing receivables liens and the fee when customers pay late. A business with only small invoices or no completed work should confirm eligibility before investing time in onboarding.

FundThrough reviews: what customers and review sites show
Keep each review platform separate. FundThrough’s own multi-platform rating is a marketing aggregate, not the Trustpilot score or a BBB customer rating.
Trustpilot: 3.9/5 from 9 reviews
The matched profile links to fundthrough.com and lists the company’s phone number. The sample is small, with four reviews displayed from the preceding 12 months.
BBB customer reviews: 0
The matched BBB review page displayed zero customer reviews. There is no BBB customer-star average to report from this snapshot.
Company-reported rating: 4.6
FundThrough’s homepage presents 4.6 as an average across Google, Trustpilot and G2. The calculation and underlying counts were not independently reproduced.
What the visible feedback discusses
Positive experiences
Visible Trustpilot reviews praise account support, an easy funding workflow and help managing growth-related cash needs.
Concerns and company responses
Other reviewers describe documentation, eligibility and communication problems. One disputed payment/account allegation received a company response denying an active or funded account associated with the claim. These are competing statements, not an established finding of wrongdoing.
Read individual dates and responses before drawing conclusions. A handful of reviews cannot establish approval odds, typical funding speed or typical customer outcomes. No independently verified current Google or G2 score is assigned here.

FundThrough BBB rating, accreditation & complaints
| BBB item | Finding |
|---|---|
| Business grade | A+ |
| Accreditation | Not BBB accredited |
| Complaints in preceding 3 years | 1 |
| Complaints in preceding 12 months | 0 |
| Customer reviews | 0 |
BBB’s grade is separate from accreditation and customer-review stars. Non-accreditation alone does not establish misconduct, and an A+ grade does not guarantee an offer or favorable terms.
What is known about the complaint?
The complaints page displayed a summary count but no matching published complaint details. The subject, resolution and parties’ statements were therefore not established from that page. A missing narrative should not be rewritten as “no complaints.”

Is FundThrough legit or a legitimate company?
The matched company website, BBB business record and identifiable management support FundThrough’s existence as an established operating business.
BBB lists a June 16, 2014 business start and incorporation date. FundThrough’s About page also describes a 2014 launch and identifies its founders. Its website and BBB profile share the Toronto address and main phone number.
That evidence answers the business-identity question. Whether a particular offer is right for your business depends on the approved invoices, cost, customer contact, liability for nonpayment and written agreement. Request those terms before committing.

FundThrough factoring rates, fees & advance amounts
The pricing page quotes fees per 30 days. A factoring fee is not an APR, and an advertised advance is not the same as cash received after deductions.
| Item | Published information | What to clarify |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing tier | 1.9%–2.9% per 30 days for total outstanding invoices up to $999,999, subject to eligibility. | The rate for your customer and the treatment of partial periods. |
| Larger balances | Custom pricing advertised above $1 million. | Ask for a quote at the exact $1 million boundary and above it. |
| Advance | Up to 100% of invoice value minus the fee. | Any reserve or adjustment for deductions, returns or short payments. |
| Account opening / keeping account open | Free according to the account help page; no obligation to fund. | Separate account charges from costs of a funded invoice. |
| Optional wire | Funding-time guidance says a wire carries an additional fee. | Current amount and whether ordinary bank transfer is sufficient. |
| Late payment / different fee structures | Help materials distinguish transaction fees and, for some arrangements, daily funding fees. | Which structure applies and what changes after the due date. |
Why the written quote matters
The April 2024 fee guide describes an upfront transaction fee based on invoice value, and a funding fee where applicable calculated from daily rate × days outstanding × advance. It also describes advances adjusted for short-payment history and reserves paid after collection. These details mean the current “up to 100%” and “flat fee” marketing should not be read as a promise that every account has identical terms.
A simple cost example
Illustration only: a $100,000 invoice with a 2.5% total fee costs $2,500 and produces $97,500 if there is no separate reserve or other charge. If you expect payment in 60 days, request the actual 60-day cost; do not assume the 30-day quote is the final fee or that all accounts use the same extension formula.

FundThrough requirements: invoices, first funding & eligibility
Eligibility depends on the business, the customer who owes the invoice and the invoice itself. FundThrough’s first-funding rules are different from its ongoing minimum policy.
| Requirement | Published guidance |
|---|---|
| First funding | The November 2025 eligibility article says first funding is ineligible below $100,000 total invoice value or without at least $100,000 in receivables to one customer. Confirm how this applies to your submission. |
| After first funding | No required funding minimum advertised after the initial funding. |
| Customer type | Business or government customer with acceptable credit; consumer invoices are excluded. |
| Work and invoice status | Completed work with a clear due date. The eligibility guide excludes already-paid or overdue invoices and net terms longer than 90 days. |
| Unbilled work | Purchase orders, field tickets and estimates are not eligible invoices under that guide. |
| Industry restrictions | Current pricing and process pages exclude construction and real estate. |
| Existing receivables liens | You must be willing to have conflicting liens or claims removed. |
| Credit inquiry | The current process page says no hard credit checks on your business; approval primarily considers your customers. |
| Other minimums | A universal personal FICO, revenue or business-age minimum was not established in the reviewed current materials. |
Resolve inconsistent eligibility wording before applying
The process page broadly refers to invoices of any size, while the detailed eligibility guide specifies first-funding thresholds. Likewise, an older application article mentions construction requirements, but current product pages exclude that industry. Ask FundThrough to confirm your current eligibility in writing rather than relying on an older article or a short marketing statement.
For a useful pre-screen, provide your industry, customer names, invoice amounts, payment terms and outstanding liens. Approval of a business account should not be treated as approval of every customer or invoice.

Documents FundThrough asks for when you apply
The current process page and application help article describe identity, business and bank verification.
- Business formation records, such as incorporation or LLC documents.
- Government-issued photo identification.
- A voided business check or official direct-deposit information.
- Authorization to review the business’s tax history.
- Invoice and banking history, plus information needed to verify customers.
The older help article mentions two years of tax statements for sole proprietors and possible financial documents as funding grows. Confirm the applicable list for your entity and facility. A quick account signup is only the start of underwriting.
Before connecting accounting or banking software, review the requested permissions and confirm the account belongs to the entity seeking funding. Send documents through FundThrough’s designated application process.

FundThrough approval, customer verification & funding speed
1 · Create the account
Register and supply the business and identity records needed for review.
2 · Select invoices
Upload invoices or use a supported accounting connection. Separate the initial eligibility screen from approval of each invoice.
3 · Verify with the customer
FundThrough says it contacts you before contacting your customer and works with the customer to verify invoices and redirect payment.
4 · Review the offer
Confirm the deposited amount, fee, any reserve and the treatment of short or late customer payments.
5 · Meet the cutoff
Published cutoff: 1 p.m. Eastern, Monday–Friday. Invoice verification and approval must be completed, not simply submitted.
6 · Receive and reconcile
The help page describes deposit within one business day after timely approval. Later requests move to the next business day; optional wires cost extra.
First funding can take longer. The homepage’s 24-hour funding claim is qualified as after first funding. No universal guaranteed initial-onboarding duration was established. Ask for separate estimates for business review, customer verification and bank transfer.

FundThrough invoice factoring, software integrations & customer contact
FundThrough’s current offering centers on receiving early payment for eligible invoices through an online platform.
Choose invoices and customers
The platform advertises selective, or spot, factoring. Ask whether payment instructions affect only purchased invoices or other payments from the same debtor, and how unfunded payments are reconciled.
Accounting integrations
The process page describes QuickBooks Online, OpenInvoice and Xero, plus manual uploads for unsupported software. The homepage also displays Sage. Confirm the exact connector, sync behavior and permissions for your account.
Funding capacity
“Unlimited” is qualified by eligible invoices. It does not establish unconditional credit or guarantee that every debtor balance can be funded.
Customer relationships
FundThrough’s process involves customer verification and payment redirection. Ask to see the notice and communications your customer will receive. Do not assume this is confidential or non-notification factoring.
References to “Velocity” in help articles identify an invoice-factoring workflow. Older partner pages and fee descriptions may cover different or legacy arrangements; request the product name and purchasing entity on your current offer.

FundThrough industries & geographic eligibility
FundThrough describes serving businesses in the U.S. and Canada, particularly those invoicing larger commercial customers or government agencies. Its published industry examples include energy, oil and gas, technology, manufacturing, wholesale, professional services, agriculture, automotive and building supplies.
The identity of the debtor matters as much as the industry label. A business that sells mainly to consumers, has no accepted invoices, or needs cash before completing work may need a different financing structure.
Construction and real estate: current pricing and process pages exclude these industries. Confirm borderline activities, such as supplying materials to a contractor, before assuming eligibility. A state-by-state or province-by-province availability schedule was not established.
Sources: FundThrough pricing ↗ · Invoice eligibility and first funding ↗.
FundThrough recourse, UCC liens, guarantees & cancellation
Review the actual Master Purchase and Sale Agreement. FundThrough’s public service terms identify that agreement as governing the invoice-purchase facility.
Recourse and customer nonpayment
A universal non-recourse guarantee was not established from the reviewed current terms. Ask who bears losses from insolvency, disputed work, fraud, deductions and overdue invoices; request the chargeback or repurchase provisions.
Existing liens and new filings
Current eligibility requires willingness to remove receivables claims. Ask whether your existing bank or MCA lien needs a release or subordination, what new UCC/PPSA security is filed, and how it is terminated.
Personal guarantees
A universal personal-guarantee rule was not established. Ask whether any guarantee covers all payment obligations or specific breaches, and which owners must sign.
Cancellation and outstanding invoices
The current process page advertises no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. Ask how account closure works while invoices remain unpaid and which payment, reporting or security obligations survive.
Do flat fees eliminate late-payment risk?
No such blanket conclusion is supported. The fee-definition article conditions its no-funding-fee Velocity explanation on payment within a reasonable time and discusses separate fee structures. Ask for a worked example at the due date and 30 days past due, including any additional fees, reserves or recovery obligations.
Keep the quoted pricing, master agreement and applicable addenda together. A platform account, a selected invoice and a completed funding approval are different stages.

FundThrough vs. altLINE vs. Riviera Finance
Compare the same debtor, invoice amount and payment date. The most useful differences are initial eligibility, cash held in reserve, credit protection and the work each provider handles.
On mobile, swipe the table sideways.
| Comparison point | FundThrough | altLINE | Riviera Finance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Model | Online invoice-funding platform with selective invoice funding. | Bank-operated factoring division of The Southern Bank Company. | Full-service factoring, credit services and receivables management. |
| Advertised fees | 1.9%–2.9% per 30 days in its published standard tier; see the pricing section. | General initial fee 0.5%–3.0%; confirm the initial period and increments. | Predetermined percentage of invoice value; no universal numerical rate established from the reviewed service page. |
| Advance | Up to 100% less fees; confirm offer-specific adjustments. | Standard 80%–90%, remainder after collection less fees. | Up to 95%, depending on industry and circumstances. |
| Initial eligibility | Specific first-funding criteria; see the requirements table. | Homepage says an established operating history is not required. | FAQ describes startups through businesses with $2 million monthly sales; this is not a guaranteed facility size. |
| Ongoing minimums | No required funding minimum after initial funding. | Confirm volume commitments; no software-access fee is not the same as no minimum-volume fee. | Obtain minimum-volume and shortfall-fee terms in writing. |
| Credit protection | Do not assume non-recourse; request the actual agreement. | Recourse is described for certain industry programs; confirm yours. | Advertises non-recourse factoring and a credit guarantee for factored invoices; request exclusions. |
| Speed | After first funding, approval and cutoff rules apply. | Payroll page advertises under 24 hours after setup and same-day options. | Typically 4–7 working days initially per FAQ; established-client funding within 24 hours after invoice verification. |
| Service | Online invoice selection, integrations and customer verification. | Payroll program advertises account manager, onboarding support, credit checks and collection help. | Collections, payment posting, credit checks and ROAM online account access. |
| Geography | U.S. and Canadian businesses; confirm your product and customer location. | U.S. markets; confirm location and debtor eligibility. | FAQ expressly lists all 50 states and Canada. |
| Contract questions | Cancellation policy, funded obligations, recourse, guarantees and security release. | Term, renewal, minimums, guarantees, UCC scope and reserve release. | Term, renewal, credit exclusions, minimums and reserve release. |
FundThrough vs. altLINE: flexibility and initial cash
FundThrough’s invoice-selection model may suit a business that only wants to fund particular invoices, provided it meets initial eligibility. Ask altLINE whether its offer permits the same selection without a monthly commitment. A startup should compare actual eligibility rather than borrowing a minimum from a different provider or product.
For a business making weekly payroll, the advance affects how much cash is available immediately. The reserve is not necessarily a fee: ask when it is returned and what can be deducted. Compare both the opening deposit and final net proceeds.
FundThrough vs. Riviera Finance: credit protection and administration
Riviera’s advertised credit guarantee is a meaningful item to compare with FundThrough’s written liability provisions. Present the same scenarios to each: customer insolvency, disputed delivery, an invoice credit and simple late payment. Request written answers identifying when the provider absorbs a loss and when your business must repay or replace an invoice.
Also compare who handles credit checks, payment reminders, disputed items and reconciliation. Ask to see a sample account statement and identify the person responsible for an urgent funding or payment-allocation issue.
Compare three quotes on one invoice
Use a $100,000 invoice and ask for cash received and total costs at 30, 45 and 60 days. A hypothetical 90% advance gives $90,000 before upfront deductions; 100% less a hypothetical 2.5% fee gives $97,500. The extra initial cash is a liquidity difference, not proof of lower total cost.
- Separate the factoring fee, held reserve and one-time setup charges.
- Include wire fees, shortfall charges and any late-payment adjustments.
- Compare invoice-selection rights and minimum commitments.
- Read credit-risk exclusions and account-exit terms before choosing.

How this page was researched
This profile uses public company pages, product and help documentation, service terms, BBB and Trustpilot. Sources were checked October 20, 2026; some help articles carry older update dates. It is desk research, not a firsthand funding test or a review of a reader’s negotiated agreement.
Company claims, independent records and editorial comparison questions are distinguished. Missing figures are not treated as zero fees or unrestricted eligibility. Where sources differ, the conflicting wording is identified rather than silently merged.
What remains offer-specific or unverified
Final pricing, reserve adjustments, initial approval duration, exact guarantee and security provisions, recourse events, exceptions to eligibility, complete geographic availability, comprehensive legal history and current original Google/G2 scores were not established for every applicant.
