The funding form contacts MCA Shield, not Lendio. Approval, rates, funding amounts and a referral to a particular company are not guaranteed.
Is Lendio a potential fit?
Worth considering: a business owner who wants to compare several financing categories or participating lenders through one marketplace rather than applying to only one direct lender.
Compare carefully: Lendio does not make loans directly. A marketplace application can lead to different lenders, credit inquiries, pricing structures, repayment schedules, security requirements and servicing relationships. The lowest published threshold or rate is not a universal Lendio offer.
MCA Shield’s editorial suitability assessment—not a personalized recommendation. Check requirements · Review costs · Existing debt considerations.
About this page: public-source research, not a firsthand borrowing review. MCA Shield may earn referral compensation and offers paid placements. Paid placements are labeled Sponsored; inclusion is not an endorsement. Read the research and referral disclosures.
Lendio Reviews: Trustpilot, BBB & ConsumerAffairs
Ratings snapshot: October 15, 2026 for Trustpilot and BBB; ConsumerAffairs figure from the current retrieved 2026 profile. Review counts change over time.
Lendio’s reputation scores differ materially by platform. MCA Shield does not average them because Trustpilot, BBB and ConsumerAffairs have different review populations, collection methods and sample sizes.
21,913 reviews
Trustpilot identifies a claimed profile and a paid subscription. Lendio invites customers to review. The October 14 research package recorded 21,914 reviews; the supplemental October 15 check displayed 21,913.
18 customer reviews
The current BBB customer-review page showed 1.67/5 from 18 reviews. The research package captured 1.71/5 from 17 one day earlier. This customer rating is separate from Lendio’s A+ BBB business rating.
196 reviews
The retrieved ConsumerAffairs profile identifies Lendio as a marketplace rather than the originating lender and includes both favorable and unfavorable customer accounts.
Recurring Lendio review themes
| Theme | What reviewers discuss | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Funding specialists | Many positive reviews describe knowledgeable or helpful representatives who guide applicants through marketplace options. | Ask which responsibilities stay with Lendio after you select a lender. |
| Convenience | Reviewers often value using one application to explore multiple financing options. | Confirm how many providers receive your information and who retains it. |
| Communication | Positive accounts describe responsive service; negative accounts include delayed follow-up or difficulty ending communications. | Identify a contact for both the marketplace and final lender. |
| Offer expectations | Some reviewers report disappointment when the available terms or products differ from what they expected. | Compare only written offers—amount, lender, rate type, total cost and repayment. |
| Pricing | Some negative accounts discuss expensive terms or unexpected costs. | Separate Lendio’s marketplace role from the lender’s actual financing agreement and fees. |
Marketplace context matters: a review praising or criticizing a Lendio representative does not necessarily evaluate the lender’s underwriting or contract terms. Likewise, a financing complaint may involve Lendio, the lender, or both.
Lendio BBB rating, accreditation & complaints
The matched corporate BBB profile currently shows an A+ business rating and accreditation. The BBB letter grade, customer-review average and formal complaint record are separate measures.
BBB Accredited
BBB lists Lendio as accredited since August 18, 2021 and identifies Lendio, Inc. in Lehi, Utah.
Complaints over three years
The current BBB complaint summary also displays four complaints filed during the previous 12 months.
Answered / Resolved
The October 14 research package recorded 19 Answered and 2 Resolved. BBB complaint classifications can change; “Answered” does not necessarily mean the customer accepted the response.
What are Lendio BBB complaints about?
The October research package recorded complaint categories including product, billing, customer service, order, and service/repair issues. Published complaint narratives include allegations involving communication, credit-inquiry expectations, qualification expectations and repeated sales contact. These are customer accounts and company responses, not MCA Shield findings that Lendio violated a law or contract.
The BBB business profile also reports a business start in 2005 and incorporation in 2011. Lendio itself describes the company as founded in 2011; this page keeps those dates separate rather than merging them.
Lendio loan requirements: product-specific marketplace screens
There is no single universal “Lendio minimum” because Lendio is a marketplace. Current and published screening criteria vary by financing product and participating lender.
| Product | Published credit | Published revenue | Published business history | Source context |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Business line of credit | 600+ personal FICO | $2,500+ monthly | 6+ months | Current October 15 LOC page. Newer than the research package’s earlier $6,000 monthly figure. |
| Business term loan | 600+ | $8,000+ monthly | 1+ year | Current term-loan page. |
| SBA financing | 640+ | $8,000+ monthly | 2+ years | Marketplace screening criteria; SBA lender underwriting still controls. |
| Equipment financing | 520+ | $50,000+ monthly | 0–12 months minimum depending on option | Product-category screen; equipment and lender terms vary. |
| Revenue-based financing | 500+ | $4,000+ monthly | 3+ months | Research-package product screen; product can include MCA/business cash-advance structures. |
Sources: Lendio line of credit ↗ · Lendio term loans ↗ · Lendio SBA financing ↗ · Lendio equipment financing ↗ · Revenue-based financing ↗.
Important update: the October 14 research package found older Lendio line-of-credit material citing $6,000 monthly revenue and a $500,000 maximum. The current dedicated LOC page checked October 15 displays $2,500 monthly revenue and a $750,000 maximum. Use the live dedicated product page for the dated current snapshot, while preserving the earlier discrepancy in the research notes.
Credit inquiry: Lendio says submitting its initial marketplace application to funding partners will not affect personal credit. It also says accepting an offer may result in a hard credit inquiry depending on the lender and product.
Lendio rates, fees & total borrowing cost
Lendio publishes category-level rates and starting figures, but the marketplace does not create one universal Lendio APR or fee schedule. The participating lender’s written offer controls.
| Financing category | Published pricing context | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Business line of credit | Current financing-directory research captured a broad published category range; the live LOC page emphasizes lender matching rather than one universal APR. | Rate type, APR, draw charges, annual/maintenance fees, total repayment and early-payoff calculation. |
| Business term loan | As low as 6% in the October research package. | Whether the percentage is APR/interest, origination fee, total repayment and prepayment terms. |
| Equipment financing | As low as 7.5% in the research package. | Down payment, lien/title structure, lender fees and total cost. |
| Revenue-based financing | Research package listed category pricing from 18%. | Factor/effective cost, purchased/repayment amount, daily/weekly withdrawals and reconciliation rights. |
| Accounts receivable financing | Research package listed category pricing from 3%. | Advance, discount/fee calculation, recourse and invoice aging. |
| SBA financing | Prime-based pricing. | Actual lender, SBA program, spread, guarantee fee, closing costs and collateral requirements. |
Initial application advertised as free
Lendio says there is no charge to submit its financing application. A free marketplace application does not mean the resulting loan or financing is free of lender fees.
Lendio may receive lender compensation
Lendio discloses that it may receive compensation from lenders for referrals or funded loans and that compensation may affect offer placement. That makes the actual lender, economics and written disclosures especially important.
Best comparison method: request the amount actually deposited, APR or comparable annualized cost, total repayment, payment schedule, every lender/broker/origination/draw/maintenance fee, and early-payoff amount. Do not compare unlike rate formats as though they were equivalent APRs.

Lendio business loans, line of credit & financing categories
Lendio offers marketplace access to multiple financing categories. The amounts below describe published marketplace/product ranges, not a promise that a specific participating lender will approve the maximum.
| Product | Published amount / term | Key distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Business line of credit | Current dedicated page: $1K–$750K; 4–24 months; funding in 1–2 days advertised | Multiple lenders; interest on drawn funds; no individual draw fee advertised; lender-specific repayment/security terms. |
| Business term loan | $5K–$2M; 6 months–10 years; funding as soon as 24 hours advertised | Lump-sum marketplace financing; term-loan lender determines actual rate, fee and security package. |
| SBA financing | Up to $5M; longer closing timeline | Lendio facilitates access to participating SBA lenders; Lendio itself is not the originating SBA lender. |
| Equipment financing | $5K–$5M in research package | Equipment can secure the financing; underwriting and down-payment requirements depend on provider. |
| Revenue-based financing | Dedicated page: $5K–$2M; 3–36 months | Can include products called merchant cash advances, business cash advances or purchases of future receivables; repayment may be daily, weekly or semi-monthly. |
| Accounts receivable financing | Based on receivables | Advance/receivable structure depends on the provider and invoices. |
| Commercial mortgage | Research package: $5K–$5M+ | Real-estate-backed financing; lender, collateral and closing requirements vary. |
| Startup financing | Research package: up to $150K | Marketplace options may use materially different underwriting and pricing. |
Sources: Lendio financing directory ↗ · Line of credit ↗ · Term loans ↗ · Revenue-based financing ↗.
Revenue-based financing matters for MCA Shield readers: Lendio explicitly says this category can include merchant cash advances and similar future-receivables structures. New financing and MCA debt relief are not interchangeable. Frequent withdrawals can increase cash-flow pressure if the new financing does not actually replace existing obligations.
Lendio personal guarantees, collateral & UCC filings
Because Lendio is a marketplace, there is no universal guarantee, collateral or UCC policy that applies to every financing provider and product.
Personal guarantee & UCC
The research did not establish one universal personal-guarantee requirement, blanket-UCC requirement, filing threshold, lien-priority rule or release process covering the whole marketplace.
Collateral can vary substantially
Equipment can secure equipment financing, real estate can secure commercial mortgages, and receivables are central to receivables financing. Term loans and lines of credit may be secured or unsecured depending on the lender.
Ask the actual lender—not just the marketplace: who signs the guarantee, what property secures the financing, whether a UCC-1 will be filed, what happens to existing liens, and how any filing/security interest is released after payoff.
Lendio vs. OnDeck vs. Bluevine: line-of-credit comparison
Lendio is structurally different from a single branded lender. The table compares the marketplace’s current line-of-credit screen with OnDeck and Bluevine’s published branded credit-line information.
On a phone, swipe the comparison left or right. The first column stays in place.
| Comparison point | Lendio | OnDeck | Bluevine |
|---|---|---|---|
| Provider model | Marketplace; Lendio is not the direct lender. | Branded OnDeck credit line. | Celtic Bank-issued Bluevine line, serviced by Bluevine. |
| Published line size | Current page: $1K–$750K. | $6K–$200K. | $1K–$250K. |
| Published screening | Current LOC page: 600+ FICO, $2,500+ monthly revenue, 6+ months; lender rules still vary. | 625+ FICO; 1+ year; $100K annual revenue; business checking. | Base weekly screen: 625+ FICO; 12+ months; $120K annual revenue; $2K average bank balance; LLC/corporation. |
| Published term / repayment | Current LOC page: 4–24 months; lender structure varies. | 12, 18 or 24 months; weekly or monthly. | Weekly up to 52 weeks; monthly over 12 months with higher requirements. |
| Pricing context | Participating-lender pricing; verify the rate type, APR and all fees in the offer. | Historical average LOC APR published; actual offer varies. | Advertised starting interest rate; actual draw cost and plan rules vary. |
| Main fit question | Which actual lender, terms, security package and servicing relationship am I accepting? | Does OnDeck’s payment schedule and total cost fit cash flow? | Can I qualify for the desired weekly or monthly plan? |

Lendio company overview, business model & leadership
Lendio is a business financing marketplace, not a direct lender. Lendio says it works with more than 100 lenders and funders through one financing platform. Its company page separately refers to 75+ funding partners, so the exact active-network count is not treated as a fixed audited number.
Lendio, Inc. · Lehi, Utah
Lendio describes itself as founded in 2011. BBB reports a business start in 2005 and incorporation in 2011. Both dates are preserved because they describe different records.
Brock Blake · Founder / CEO
BBB identifies Brock Blake as founder/CEO and principal contact. The company’s current public materials describe Lendio’s marketplace and small-business-financing platform.
Is Lendio legit? Lendio has an identifiable corporate business record, an A+ accredited BBB profile, current product and regulatory disclosures, a large independent review history and a long operating record. Those facts establish a verifiable business identity—not guaranteed approval, favorable pricing or suitability.
Company-reported scale: Lendio currently reports more than $17 billion in financing facilitated and more than 520,000 businesses funded. These are company-reported cumulative figures and include PPP loans according to Lendio’s disclosure.

Lendio application, matching & funding process
Submit business information
Lendio offers one online marketplace application and advertises the initial application as free.
Marketplace identifies potential providers
Lendio evaluates the business profile and can present financing options from participating lenders and funders.
Review actual lender offers
Compare lender identity, amount, rate type, fees, total repayment, payment schedule, security and servicing before choosing.
Lender-specific documents
The selected lender may request bank statements, tax documents, identity verification or other underwriting information. No universal document checklist applies across all products.
Initial no-impact claim, possible later hard pull
Lendio says the marketplace application does not affect personal credit; accepting an offer may result in a hard inquiry depending on lender/product.
Timing depends on product
Some products advertise funding in as little as 24 hours; SBA and commercial-mortgage options can take materially longer.
Information sharing: Lendio’s privacy policy says application information may be shared with financing providers in the marketplace, and those providers may retain applicant information even when no transaction closes. Lendio says applicants may request a list of providers that received their information.

Lendio state availability & industries
Lendio markets financing to U.S. businesses, but exact product availability depends on the participating lender, business location and applicable regulations.
Geographic classification
U.S. business financing marketplace; lender and product restrictions apply. Do not treat a national marketplace presence as proof that every participating lender or financing structure is available in all 50 states.
Industries Lendio markets to
Lendio publishes financing content for restaurants, construction, agriculture, automotive repair, healthcare/pharmacies, professional services, retail and other industries.
California company disclosure: Lendio identifies Lendio Partners, LLC as a wholly owned subsidiary with California Financing Law License No. 60DBO-44694 and publishes NMLS ID 1998423. The research package did not independently verify the current government registry status or scope.
Lendio refinancing, existing MCA debt & cash-flow considerations
Lendio markets term loans for refinancing and also offers revenue-based financing that can include merchant cash advances. Those are very different financing paths.
Refinancing does not mean every existing MCA qualifies
The public research does not establish universal approval rules for stacked MCAs, delinquent advances, accounts in collections, active judgments, tax liens or pending litigation. The matched lender decides.
Revenue-based financing can create frequent withdrawals
Lendio describes revenue-based financing as potentially including merchant cash advances and future-receivables products with daily, weekly or semi-monthly draws. A business already under daily-payment pressure should compare the before-and-after cash flow carefully.
New financing and MCA debt relief are not interchangeable. If the goal is to replace existing advances, verify which debts will actually be paid off, the total new repayment cost and the resulting weekly/monthly cash outflow.
Different needs: for new capital or refinancing, use the MCA Shield business-funding inquiry. If the primary problem is unsustainable MCA payments and you are researching restructuring/settlement providers, visit the MCA Debt Relief Companies directory.
Lendio licensing, regulatory & legal research limits
The supplied research identified company regulatory disclosures but did not establish a sufficiently verified current adverse enforcement action or final regulatory judgment that should be presented as a confirmed material finding.
NMLS and California license identifiers
Lendio publishes NMLS ID 1998423 and identifies Lendio Partners, LLC with California Financing Law License No. 60DBO-44694. The research did not independently complete live government-registry verification of status or scope.
Arbitration and class-action waiver
The research package identifies binding-arbitration and class-action-waiver provisions in Lendio’s Terms of Use, along with Utah governing-law language and an arbitration opt-out procedure. Contract provisions are not evidence of misconduct.
Research boundary: “no verified enforcement action established” is not the same as a comprehensive clearance of every state regulator, court docket or federal database. Verify the legal lender and applicable license before relying on any regulatory status for a specific transaction.

Lendio reviews, BBB rating, requirements, rates & financing FAQs
Is Lendio a direct lender?
No. Lendio explicitly describes itself as a business financing platform/marketplace and says it does not make loans directly. Participating lenders and funders make credit decisions and provide the actual financing.
What is Lendio’s BBB rating?
The matched corporate BBB profile displays an A+ business rating and accreditation since August 18, 2021. That is separate from Lendio’s lower BBB customer-review average. See the BBB section.
How many Lendio BBB complaints are there?
The live BBB complaint summary displayed 21 complaints over three years and four filed in the previous 12 months at the October 15, 2026 check.
What are Lendio’s Trustpilot reviews?
Trustpilot displayed 4.5/5 from 21,913 reviews on the supplemental October 15 check. The October 14 research package recorded 21,914, illustrating why counts should be treated as dated snapshots.
Is Lendio legit?
Lendio has an identifiable corporate record, current marketplace/product disclosures, an A+ accredited BBB profile and a large independent review history. Those facts establish a verifiable business identity—not guaranteed approval or favorable terms.
What credit score does Lendio require?
There is no universal marketplace minimum. Current category screens include 600+ for the line of credit and term loans, 640+ for SBA financing, 520+ for equipment financing and 500+ for revenue-based financing. The participating lender controls final underwriting.
What are Lendio’s current line-of-credit requirements?
The dedicated line-of-credit page checked October 15, 2026 publishes 600+ personal FICO, $2,500+ monthly revenue and 6+ months in business. Final lender requirements can differ. See the product-specific table.
How large is a Lendio business line of credit?
The current dedicated page displays $1,000 to $750,000 with 4–24 month terms. This differs from the $500,000 cap captured in the October 14 research package, so MCA Shield uses the newer dedicated-page figure for the current snapshot.
Does applying through Lendio hurt my credit?
Lendio says submitting the marketplace application to funding partners does not affect personal credit. It also warns that accepting a financing offer may lead to a hard credit inquiry depending on product and lender.
Does Lendio charge a fee to apply?
Lendio advertises the initial marketplace application as free. Lender origination, draw, maintenance, late, closing or other financing fees can still apply to the actual offer.
Does Lendio require collateral or a personal guarantee?
There is no universal rule across the marketplace. Equipment, real estate and receivables products can involve asset-specific collateral, while term loans and lines of credit may vary by lender. See the security section.
Does Lendio offer merchant cash advances?
Lendio’s revenue-based financing page says the category can include products sometimes called merchant cash advances, business cash advances and purchases of future receivables. That does not make Lendio an MCA debt-relief company.
Can Lendio refinance existing MCA debt?
Lendio markets refinancing through some financing categories, but the research did not establish a universal rule for stacked, delinquent or defaulted MCAs. The matched lender must confirm eligibility and required payoffs.
Who receives the MCA Shield funding inquiry?
MCA Shield receives it—not Lendio. The form is not a Lendio application and does not guarantee a referral to Lendio, approval, rate or funding amount.
About the author, research & source limitations
This is a public-source company profile, not firsthand borrowing experience, an individualized recommendation or a professional review of a reader’s financing agreement.
How this profile was researched
The foundation is MCA Shield’s Lendio research package dated October 14, 2026. It reviewed Lendio’s homepage, financing directory, product pages, company/regulatory disclosures, Terms of Use, privacy policy and contact information; BBB business/review/complaint pages; Trustpilot; ConsumerAffairs; BestCompany; and additional public records.
A supplemental October 15 check confirmed Lendio’s marketplace/not-direct-lender disclosure, current line-of-credit screen and amount/term, BBB A+ accreditation and complaint count, current BBB customer-review snapshot, Trustpilot snapshot and ConsumerAffairs snapshot.
Important live-source changes since the research package
The dedicated line-of-credit page now displays a $1,000–$750,000 range, 4–24 month terms, 600+ FICO, $2,500+ monthly revenue and 6+ months in business. The October 14 package contained an older $500,000 cap and $6,000 monthly-revenue figure from then-available Lendio material. This profile uses the newer live product page while retaining the discrepancy rather than silently rewriting the earlier research.
The BBB customer-review page now displays 1.67/5 from 18 reviews, versus 1.71/5 from 17 in the October 14 package. Trustpilot displayed 21,913 reviews versus 21,914 in the prior-day research. These are normal examples of why review counts are dated snapshots.
What remains unverified or lender-specific
A universal minimum credit score, revenue requirement, loan amount, bank-statement checklist, tax-return requirement, personal guarantee, UCC filing, prepayment policy, full fee schedule, restricted-industry list, state-by-product matrix and policy for stacked/defaulted MCAs were not established across the whole marketplace.
A current original Google rating, comprehensive regulatory history, comprehensive litigation history, exact active lender count and current government-registry verification of the disclosed NMLS/California identifiers were not independently established. Missing information is not treated as zero fees, no obligation or unrestricted eligibility.
Research and commercial relationships
MCA Shield may earn compensation for referrals to selected partners and offers sponsored directory placement opportunities. Paid placements are labeled Sponsored. Inclusion, placement and third-party ratings are not a ranking of suitability or a guarantee of results. The inquiry form contacts MCA Shield; financing providers determine their own eligibility and contract terms.
Review allegations are not treated as proven violations, and ratings are not averaged. This profile is educational research, not legal, tax or individualized financial advice. To request a factual correction, use the company-representative section and include supporting sources.
