Is Bluevine a potential fit?
Worth considering: an LLC or corporation needing reusable working capital. Base screens include 625+ FICO, 12+ months in business and $120,000+ annual revenue; the offered repayments still need to fit your cash flow.
Look elsewhere first: a newer business, a sole proprietor seeking the standard line, or a business needing MCA settlement rather than another loan. Monthly payments require higher qualifications.

Bluevine line of credit requirements
Start with the base application criteria, then check which repayment plan you qualify for. A weekly-plan approval does not automatically qualify a business for monthly payments.
| Requirement | Published standard | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Business structure | LLC or corporation | Sole proprietors cannot apply for the standard Bluevine-branded line; partner financing through the Business Financing Center is a different route. |
| Business history | 12+ months | The monthly plan requires a longer operating history; see below. |
| Personal credit | 625+ FICO | Initial application/review does not affect personal credit; acceptance may involve a hard inquiry. |
| Revenue | $10,000 monthly or $120,000 annually | Underwriting considers business performance and cash flow, not only a headline revenue figure. |
| Average bank balance | $2,000 minimum | Published in Bluevine’s application guidance; additional documents may be requested. |
| Business and credit standing | Good Secretary of State standing; no bankruptcies on the credit report | Other credit-history and underwriting considerations apply. |
| Geography | Eligible U.S. states | Standard line excludes Nevada, North Dakota, South Dakota and U.S. territories. |
| Bank data and industry | Business checking account; eligible industry | Bank connection or recent statements may be required. A comprehensive current industry-exclusion list was not independently established here. |

Monthly repayment has a separate qualification bar
| Plan requirement | Weekly plan | Monthly plan |
|---|---|---|
| Personal FICO | 625+ | 700+ |
| Operating history | 12+ months | 3+ years |
| Average monthly bank balance | $2,000 | $10,000 |
| Revenue wording in plan guidance | More than $10,000 monthly, or at least $120,000 annually | More than $80,000 monthly, or at least $960,000 annually |
| Scheduled term | Weekly installments, up to 52 weeks | Monthly installments over 12 months |
Sources: Bluevine weekly and monthly plan requirements .
The general application page says “at least” $10,000 monthly; the plan-specific article says “greater than.” Confirm eligibility directly when your revenue is exactly at a threshold. Meeting a published minimum does not guarantee approval.
Practical fit check: compare the offered payment frequency with when your customers pay you. A monthly payment option is not the same thing as a lower total borrowing cost. Ask Bluevine about your specific plan.
Bluevine interest rates, fees & total borrowing cost
Separate the advertised rate, account fees and the price of an individual draw. These are public Bluevine disclosures—not a quote for your business or the terms of a partner loan.
Not a universal APR
Bluevine advertises this starting interest rate for top-qualified customers. A complete current APR range and maximum rate were not established from the public primary sources reviewed.
Ask for dollars, dates and total repayment
Request net proceeds, all scheduled payments, fees and the payoff calculation for your chosen draw. The smallest advertised percentage is not enough to compare different pricing structures.
Sources: Bluevine line of credit .
| Cost item | What the public source establishes | Important distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Opening/setup | Published No account-opening/setup fee. | This is the Bluevine line of credit, not a third-party partner term loan. |
| Ongoing account charges | Published No subscription, maintenance or unused-funds fees. | Borrowing charges still apply to money you draw. |
| Account closure | Published No account-closure/termination fee. | Closing a line does not cancel an outstanding balance. |
| Wire-funded draw | Published $15 outgoing wire fee. | The receiving bank may also charge a fee. Do not substitute checking-plan wire discounts for this lending disclosure. |
| Missed payment | Published Catch-up late fee: 5% of the missed repayment, with a $35 minimum. | Weekly: a missed payment puts the line on hold. Monthly: Bluevine first reissues the payment the following week; a missed retry leads to a hold and catch-up process. |
| Early-payment penalty | Published No prepayment penalty advertised. | This does not mean every plan reduces interest when repaid early. See the 12-week exception below. |
| Separate draw fee / full default charges | Offer required No universal standalone draw-fee or complete default-charge schedule established here. | Bluevine displays draw pricing before confirmation. Review the financing agreement and draw terms; do not assume every unlisted charge is $0. |
| Actual interest, APR and total repayment | Offer required Depends on underwriting and the selected draw. | The published minimum rate is not a promise of your rate, annualized cost or total repayment. |

The early-payoff exception matters: Bluevine’s support disclosure says its 12-week installment plan has a fixed fee structure; early payment does not reduce total interest owed under that plan. Other eligible plans can reduce remaining charges when prepaid. Ask which pricing structure applies to your specific draw.
Bluevine’s early-payment guidance allows repayment after funds have been in the account for at least 48 hours. For plans eligible for savings, partial prepayment can reduce fees and upcoming payments; full payoff stops further accrual on that draw. The fixed-fee exception still applies.

Before accepting, get one written comparison sheet
Ask for the amount deposited, total amount repaid, payment dates and amounts, all fees, and an early-payoff quote. Compare the same draw amount and repayment period across lenders. Add overlapping draw payments together when checking affordability.
Copy the Bluevine-specific email ↓Bluevine repayment plans, credit limits & continued access
The approved credit line, an individual draw and your available credit are different amounts. Repaying a balance can free up credit, but it does not guarantee that a future draw will be approved.
| Question | Published answer |
|---|---|
| What credit-line range is published? | $1,000–$250,000. This describes the credit-line range; it does not establish a universal minimum draw or promise the maximum. |
| How are draws repaid? | Weekly installments for up to 52 weeks, or monthly installments over 12 months, depending on qualification and the offered plan. The pricing disclosures also identify a 12-week fixed-fee option. |
| How are payments collected? | Automatic withdrawals according to the approved repayment schedule. If an authorized secondary repayment account is on file, Bluevine may try it after an unsuccessful primary-account debit. |
| Where can I see the cost before borrowing? | The Bluevine dashboard shows individual pricing under Account Details → Pricing and Terms, and draw fees before a request is confirmed. |
| Can I ask for a larger limit? | Bluevine permits requests after six consecutive, on-time scheduled weekly payments or two consecutive, on-time scheduled monthly payments. Early or extra payments do not accelerate that eligibility. Underwriting approval is still required. |
| Is the line permanently available once approved? | No. Ongoing eligibility and individual draw approval still apply. A displayed limit is not an unconditional funding commitment. |
Sources: Bluevine credit-line ranges · Bluevine weekly and monthly plan requirements · Bluevine application and eligibility · Bluevine pricing and terms · Bluevine credit-limit increases .
What can interrupt access? Bluevine’s maintenance guidance lists additional borrowing, declining revenue, missed payments, overdrafts, credit deterioration, tax liens and material business changes among possible hold triggers. Discuss new debt with Bluevine before relying on future draws.
Sources: Bluevine ongoing eligibility and account holds .
For an approved draw, ask for the actual payment schedule and confirm how multiple outstanding draws affect total weekly or monthly withdrawals.
Bluevine personal guarantee, UCC filings & credit exposure
A personal guarantee and a lien on business assets are not the same thing. The public sources confirm guarantee documentation exists; they do not establish every applicant’s security terms.
Personal-guarantee documents
Bluevine’s document guide identifies a personal guarantee alongside the financing agreement and draw files in the dashboard’s Agreements area. Its credit disclosure also warns that default may trigger personal-credit reporting in the applicant’s role as guarantor.
Ask for your guarantee before accepting and confirm who signs, what obligations it covers and how any release works.
Collateral, liens and UCC thresholds
A complete current public rule covering blanket liens, specific assets, UCC-filing thresholds, filing fees, lien priority and release procedures was not independently established.
This profile therefore does not describe Bluevine’s credit line as universally lien-free, guarantee-free or free of personal exposure.
Sources: Bluevine agreement and personal-guarantee documents · Bluevine line of credit .
Do not substitute another borrower’s agreement for yours. Request the documents governing the exact product and draw you are offered. Partner financing can have a different lender, guarantee and security package. Businesses with existing MCA obligations or UCC filings should obtain a written answer about compatibility and any required payoffs.
This is an explanation of what the reviewed documents establish, not legal advice or a legal review of your agreement. Question 4 in the email asks for the missing contract details.
Bluevine vs. OnDeck vs. Lendio: side-by-side alternatives
These are product comparisons, not rankings or personalized recommendations. Bluevine and OnDeck offer branded credit-line products, while Lendio is a financing marketplace whose participating lender controls the actual line terms. | Pricing to compare | Advertised from 7.8% interest; not presented as APR. Actual rate and draw price depend on the offer. | Published average LOC APR: 59.8% for originations in the six months ended June 30, 2026—not a rate quote. | Lendio’s financing directory publishes 8%–60% for the LOC category; confirm the rate type, APR and total cost in the lender’s actual offer. |
| Published fee / payoff point | No maintenance or unused-funds fee. No prepayment penalty, but 12-week fixed-fee interest is not reduced by early payoff. | LOC page states no annual, monthly or draw fees and no prepayment penalty. | No individual draw fee is advertised on Lendio’s current LOC page; annual, maintenance, late and prepayment terms remain lender-specific. |
| Why compare it? | Assess repeat working-capital access with separate weekly/monthly eligibility. | Assess a published repayment horizon extending beyond Bluevine’s standard line. | Compare a larger published marketplace limit and access to multiple lenders, while verifying which lender and requirements actually apply. |

*Lendio marketplace distinction: Lendio is not a direct lender. The 600 FICO, $6,000 monthly revenue and 6-month figures were identified in Lendio’s published educational content, but were not established as universal requirements of every current line-of-credit lender on its marketplace. The lender named in the offer controls final underwriting, pricing and repayment terms.

Bluevine Reviews: Trustpilot Reviews, Google Reviews, BBB & ConsumerAffairs
Ratings snapshot: October 15, 2026. Jump to the detailed BBB complaint record ↓
Bluevine's review-platform results differ sharply. MCA Shield does not average these ratings because the platforms use different review populations, collection methods and sample sizes—and many complaints concern Bluevine's business banking services rather than its line of credit.
Business owners researching Bluevine line of credit reviews should distinguish financing-specific feedback from reviews involving Bluevine Business Checking, payments or other account services.
11,659 reviews
Trustpilot showed 83% five-star reviews and 11% one-star reviews at the October 15, 2026 check. It also showed 2,519 reviews in the preceding 12 months. Bluevine's profile is claimed, has a paid Trustpilot subscription and says the company invites customers to review.
99 reviews at this check
The customer-review page retrieved on October 15, 2026 showed 1.06/5 from 99 reviews. Earlier research snapshots differed in count; this uses the dated customer-review page, not a blended or company-wide score.
12 reviews
ConsumerAffairs displayed a much smaller review sample. Its recent reviews include complaints involving account closures, transfers, support and access to funds.
No numerical Google rating assigned
The supplied research did not establish a confidently matched Google Business profile with a reliable score and count; this update does not assign one. That is not a finding that Bluevine has no Google reviews.
Do not create one blended Bluevine rating
Trustpilot's very large positive sample and BBB/ConsumerAffairs' much smaller negative samples should be evaluated separately. The key question is whether the review concerns the same Bluevine product you are considering.
Recurring Bluevine review themes
| Theme | What reviewers discuss | How to use it when vetting |
|---|---|---|
| Application and onboarding | Positive Trustpilot reviews frequently describe a straightforward online process and helpful representatives. | Confirm whether the review concerns financing, banking, or both. |
| Digital experience | Positive reviews often mention the interface, account tools and transaction convenience. | Useful for platform usability; not evidence of financing cost or underwriting outcomes. |
| Account closures / fund access | BBB and ConsumerAffairs reviews include allegations involving unexpected closures or restricted access to business funds. | These are reviewer accounts, not findings of wrongdoing, and many appear banking-related rather than line-of-credit-specific. |
| Support and disputes | Negative reviews discuss support responsiveness, transaction disputes and transfer delays. | Read Bluevine's response where available and distinguish transaction-service complaints from loan servicing complaints. |
Bluevine BBB rating, accreditation & complaints
Corporate profile is BBB Accredited
BBB's Bluevine Inc. corporate/headquarters profile shows an A+ rating and accreditation beginning July 23, 2014.
Complaints in 3 years
BBB displayed 90 complaints filed in the prior 12 months, with 300 categorized as Answered and 32 as Resolved at the latest retrieved snapshot. Counts can change.
Separate from the A+ grade
The BBB letter grade, accreditation status, customer-review score and complaint record are different measures. An A+ business rating does not mean BBB customers rate the company A+.
What are the Bluevine BBB complaints about?
When researching Bluevine complaints, first identify which Bluevine product or service the customer was actually using. BBB's current category breakdown is led by product, billing, and service/repair issues, with additional customer-service and sales/advertising complaints. Individual complaint narratives reviewed during research include allegations concerning account access, unauthorized transactions, transfer problems and support. These are customer allegations and experiences, not MCA Shield findings that Bluevine violated a law or contract.
BBB complaint snapshot: 122 product issues, 85 billing issues, 76 service/repair issues, 27 customer-service issues, 13 sales/advertising issues, 8 order issues and 1 delivery issue. Check the live BBB page for current totals.
BBB location note: Bluevine's September 2026 announcement identifies Jersey City, New Jersey as its headquarters, while BBB's corporate profile still labels Redwood City, California as headquarters and lists Jersey City as another location. BBB also maintains a separate Jersey City location record. Match the exact Bluevine Inc. corporate record before interpreting ratings or accreditation.
Bluevine company overview
Bluevine Inc. is a financial technology company, not a bank. Its best-known financing product is a revolving business line of credit. The Bluevine Line of Credit is issued by Celtic Bank and serviced by Bluevine. Business term loans are offered by third-party lending partners, while Bluevine's SBA access is a referral relationship with Fundera by NerdWallet.
Founded in 2013
Bluevine has operated since 2013. A September 2026 company announcement identifies Jersey City, New Jersey as its headquarters and Eyal Lifshitz as co-founder and CEO.

Do not treat every Bluevine financing product as the same lender relationship
The Bluevine Line of Credit is issued by Celtic Bank. Bluevine says other commercial credit products are offered by third-party partners, and Bluevine is not involved in issuing or servicing those partner products.
Why this matters when vetting Bluevine: reviews about business checking, payment processing, a Celtic Bank-issued line of credit, and a third-party term loan may describe different products and responsible parties. Read the service involved before treating a review as financing-specific evidence.
Is Bluevine legit?
Bluevine is an identifiable U.S. financial technology company with a long operating history, a current corporate BBB profile, named banking and lending partners, and public financing disclosures. That establishes a verifiable business identity; it does not guarantee that a particular product, rate or approval will fit your business.

Bluevine line of credit, term loans & SBA financing
Bluevine can surface more than one financing route, but the provider and underwriting relationship changes by product.
| Product | Published amount | Provider / role | Key distinction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bluevine Line of Credit | $1,000–$250,000 credit-line range | Issued by Celtic Bank; serviced by Bluevine | Revolving credit; draws are subject to approval and available credit replenishes as qualifying repayments are made. |
| Business term loans | Up to $500,000 | Third-party lending partners | Lump-sum financing with repayment terms up to 24 months; Bluevine says it does not issue or service partner term loans. |
| SBA 7(a) access | Up to $350,000 advertised | Referral relationship with Fundera by NerdWallet | Bluevine should not be described as the SBA lender based on this referral arrangement. |

Bluevine application, approval & funding process
Online application
Bluevine says the application can be completed online in minutes and the initial application does not affect the applicant's personal credit score.
Credit, business & banking review
Bluevine reviews eligibility and can verify bank information through an external account connection or recent statements.
Multiple financing possibilities
Eligible applicants may receive a Bluevine Line of Credit offer or financing options from lending partners. Not every applicant receives every product.
Fast decisions advertised
Bluevine advertises line-of-credit decisions in as little as five minutes and broader business-loan decisions in as little as 24 hours.
Approved draws can fund quickly
Approved draws to Bluevine Business Checking can be instant. External ACH usually takes 1–3 business days; wire timing depends on approval and cutoff times, with a published $15 wire fee.
Weekly or monthly automatic repayments
Bluevine says repayments are automatic and the line can replenish as payments are made, while future draw requests remain subject to review and approval.

Can Bluevine help a business that already has MCA debt?
Bluevine offers business financing—not an advertised MCA debt-settlement or restructuring program. The public sources reviewed do not establish a complete underwriting policy for applicants with one MCA, several stacked MCAs, existing UCC filings, delinquent advances, MCA collections or pending MCA litigation.
Do not assume new financing solves MCA cash-flow pressure
A new credit line or term loan can add another repayment obligation. If the goal is to replace expensive daily withdrawals, confirm in writing which existing balances will actually be paid off and compare the old and new total repayment obligations.
Questions for an MCA-heavy applicant
- Are existing MCA obligations acceptable under current underwriting?
- Will existing UCC filings or liens affect approval?
- Must proceeds pay off specific advances?
- What weekly or monthly cash outflow remains after funding?
- Will taking another loan affect continued Bluevine draw eligibility?
Important: Bluevine rechecks eligibility and reviews draw requests. Its maintenance guidance names additional debt as a possible reason for a hold; approval for a credit line does not guarantee every future draw.
Bluevine acquisition by Valley National Bancorp: current status
On September 28, 2026, Bluevine and Valley National Bancorp announced a definitive agreement for Valley to acquire Bluevine. The transaction is expected to close in early 2027, subject to regulatory approval and other customary conditions. An SEC filing describes aggregate consideration of approximately $340 million, subject to adjustments.
Bluevine told customers that nothing changes immediately: accounts, access, pricing, rates, terms and repayment schedules remain unchanged while the companies continue to operate separately before closing.
Do not describe Valley as Bluevine's current parent company yet. As of this October 15, 2026 research snapshot, the acquisition agreement had been announced but not established as completed.

What are Bluevine’s credit-line minimum and maximum?
Bluevine’s support page publishes a $1,000–$250,000 credit-line range. A universal minimum draw was not established in this research; the approved line and each draw remain subject to review. Read the credit-limit disclosure .
Does qualifying for Bluevine mean I can choose monthly payments?
No. The monthly plan has a higher credit, revenue, bank-balance and business-history screen. Compare the two plans’ requirements before assuming monthly repayments will be available.
What fees does Bluevine publish?
The public account disclosures list no opening, maintenance, subscription, unused-funds or closure fees. Wire-funded draws and missed payments can still create charges. See the fee table and linked policies; a complete draw-specific cost requires an offer.
Does paying Bluevine early save interest?
It depends on the plan. Bluevine advertises no prepayment penalty, but its 12-week fixed-fee plan does not reduce total interest on early payoff. Obtain the payoff calculation for your actual draw. Read the early-payment exception .
Is Bluevine’s 7.8% starting rate an APR?
This profile does not label it as APR. Bluevine advertises a starting interest rate for top-qualified applicants, while a complete universal APR range was not established. Ask for your actual annualized cost and total repayment, not just a promotional rate.
